The Gaming Giant Recruits Apex Legends Lead to Boost Troubled Hero Shooter Ambitious Title

2K Games has appointed Ben Brinkman from the creators of Apex Legends to lead the development team at 31st Union, which is currently developing the anticipated third-person action-packed title known as this innovative game.

Management Transition Comes After Lukewarm Response

Brinkman takes on the leadership position at the development studio following the dismissal of previous head Michael Condrey, who was reportedly let go due to the game's disappointing unveiling last autumn.

Recently, the company's top executive a key figure updated employees about this organizational change through an internal memo, which stressed that playtesting had indicated the necessity for a more defined vision.

Ismailer stated that the team is now overhauling Project Ethos with a renewed vision, aiming to better meet community desires.

A Pattern of Strategic Recruitment

The news mirrors a similar action taken by the publisher in August, when they recruited Rod Fergusson from Blizzard to work on the BioShock development group.
